In this position you are responsible for the wing-to-wing processes related to Pillar 2 as well as oversight and management of Baker Hughes Energy International BV and its subsidiaries. Additionally, this role is responsible for Netherlands tax matters related to Baker Hughes Energy International BV and its Dutch subsidiaries. Being one of the key individuals that will actively participate on the internal Board of Directors, reviewing financial performance and take strategic decisions with regard to the participations of the holding company, approving and signing annual budgets and financial statements. It is envisaged that the Pillar 2 & Netherlands Tax Leader will execute these responsibilities leveraging the work and support of the Baker Hughes regional and Global Tax Compliance teams in addition to the support from the broader Baker Hughes finance and accounting teams.

Pillar 2 responsibilities:
- Overseeing Pillar 2 tax compliance and managing the liability calculations under OECD Pillar 2 including establishing communication protocols, developing documentation protocols and designing compliance procedures
- Supporting the tax planning function by advising on Pillar 2 implications as well as ensuring all tax planning is properly reflected on any Pillar 2 compliance returns as well as in the consolidated tax provision
- Providing strategic support on Pillar 2 tax examinations and inquiries from the tax authorities
- Liaising with BH external reporting team and supporting tax process documentation, SOX controls and ESG;
- Assisting statutory team in dealing with external auditors as it relates to Pillar 2 matters
- Assisting affected teams in implementing new OECD guidance or legislative initiatives, including Pillar 1
- Staying up to date on evolving legislation, including cross-jurisdictional implementation issues and the impact of differing accounting standards within and across jurisdictions
- Participating in industry and professional associations tasked with analyzing and influencing new guidance and general developments in the larger OECD inclusive framework
Local Netherlands responsibilities:
- Actively participate as a member of the internal board of directors of the Global holding company; review and take strategic decisions with respect to subsidiaries of the holding company
- Support on tax aspects related to the statutory financial statements in country, including acting as key in-country tax liaison with the external auditor
- Managing in-country tax compliance, ensuring timely submission
- Supporting Dutch Finance director with Dutch regulatory reporting requirements (for example CFI benchmarking, Dutch central bank reporting, and future CSRD reporting obligations
Fuel your passion
- Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in finance/accounting.
- Have advanced working knowledge of Pillar 2 and international tax rules.
- Have broad experience between accounting firm as well as a multi-national company
- be professional proficient in English.
