Join the DXC team and contribute to bringing DXC’s claims management expertise to the people of New South Wales.
With over 20 years’ experience in workers compensation claims management, a unique opportunity exists to join a new DXC team. DXC are currently partnering with a reputable Government Health Organsiation, setting up their Wokers' Compensation Department and would love you to join the team as a PIAWE Specialist.
As a PIAWE Specialist you will be required to manage the end to end process of the Pre Injury Average Weekly earnings of injured workers in line with the Workers Injury Rehabilitation Compensation
Key elements to this role include
- Liaising with internal and external stake holders (injured workers, employers, and providers)
- Manage escalations & complaints
- Liaising with clients to provide in detail how the calculation of PIAWE was undertaken and what was considered to
- Problem solving skills with high attention to detail
- Liaise with claim stakeholders to advise process, obtain necessary documentation, advise outcome of reviews
- Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, industry codes, company policies, procedures To be successful
To be Successful
- Strong analytical skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Previous experience in customer service and administration
- The ability to plan and organise work in a manner that ensures timeframes are
- managed
- Background in working within/understanding of legislative requirements &
- guidelines,
- An ability to interpret payroll data, EBA’s, contracts of service
- Communication both verbal and written
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
- The ability to adapt to different situations and driven to achieve outcomes.
- Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
