Tamara Private Hospital is an acute Hospital offering medical, surgical and rehabilitation. It has been a leading provider of healthcare for this community for over 40 years. With 45 beds, Tamara Private Hospital offers a comprehensive range of services including Bariatric, Dental, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedic, Urology, Vascular, ENT, Robotic Surgery, Paediatric ENT and Dental, Day Surgery and Medical services.

Job Description

Tamara Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to work within our busy Physiotherapy Department. 

About Role: 

We are seeking a Physiotherapist to join our Allied Health team at Tamara Private Hospital on a permanent, full-time basis. Work within our supportive team of professionals who are passionate about providing the best quality care for patients. You will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy assessment and treatment for a range of clinical presentations.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset and have a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility is essential, with availability to participate in a weekend roster.  

Essential Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualification/degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Minimum two years' experience as a physiotherapist with at least 12 months in the acute hospital setting.
  • Current unlimited Registration with AHPRA as a physiotherapist
  • Highly developed assessment and treatment skills 
  • Ability to effectively plan, implement and evaluate physiotherapy treatment programs
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Additional Information

  • Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
