About the RoleThe school is seeking a dedicated High School Physics Teacher who can inspire curiosity, deepen scientific understanding, and help students develop strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. The ideal educator will create meaningful learning experiences, support diverse learners, and contribute to a collaborative and globally minded school community.
ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging Physics lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum
Design learning activities that promote inquiry, critical thinking, and practical application of scientific concepts
Prepare students for internal and external assessments
Use varied instructional strategies to support students with different learning needs and backgrounds
Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and well‑organized laboratory environment
Assess student progress and provide constructive, timely feedback
Collaborate with science department colleagues on curriculum planning and cross‑disciplinary projects
Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development programs
Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture and strong relationships with students and families
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics or a closely related field
Teaching certification or license
Experience teaching Physics at the high school level
Strong command of subject matter and ability to explain complex concepts clearly
Ability to create an inclusive classroom that supports diverse learners
Effective communication and classroom management skills
Experience teaching in an international school setting
Familiarity with international curricula such as IB, IGCSE, or A‑Level
Experience integrating technology, laboratory work, and project‑based learning
Ability to contribute to extracurricular STEM activities or clubs
