This is an opportunity for an experienced Physician Assistant who enjoys a balanced mix of surgery and outpatient orthopedics while working closely with fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons and an experienced sports medicine team.

The position offers a three-day-per-week schedule, typically consisting of one day in the operating room and two days in clinic, along with relocation assistance and a shared call rotation. • Coordinate hospital discharge planning, follow-up care, patient education, and rehabilitation needs.
  • Perform histories and physicals and assist with the evaluation and management of urgent orthopedic conditions.
  • First assist in orthopedic surgery, including surgical exposure, dissection, wound closure, dressing application, and placement of immobilization devices.
  • Work closely with our orthopedic surgeons, athletic trainers, rehabilitation professionals, and other members of our sports medicine team.
  • Participate in a shared first-assist call rotation with the PA team, typically about one weekend every six weeks, with occasional holiday coverage.

Who You Are:

  • Collaborative and team-oriented
  • Compassionate and patient-focused
  • A strong communicator
  • Comfortable working independently while knowing when to involve the attending physician
