We are seeking a full time Pulmonologist to join our team.

TPMG Lung and Sleep Specialists Newport News is currently seeking a full-time Pulmonologist to join the team.  The Pulmonologist will diagnose and treat patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions, including chronic lung diseases, sleep disorders, and acute respiratory illnesses. This role offers the opportunity to work with access to modern diagnostic tools and a strong referral network.  The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with pulmonary and respiratory conditions
  • Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopy, and other procedures as needed
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists to ensure coordinated care
  • Provide patient education on disease management and prevention
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
  • Participate in on-call rotation as required

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary Medicine
  • Valid VA medical license (or eligible)
  • Completion of ACGME certified residency
