Job Summary
Physician Recruiter plans, coordinates, implements, and directs all activities for the recruitment and hiring of primary care and specialty care physicians in specified market(s). This position advises and collaborates with senior management within the Baptist organization with regard to physician recruitment, staffing budgetary compliance, hiring strategies, and search/selection committee management. Because of the variable nature of physician recruitment, flexible work availability is required. Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with physicians and leaders at all levels of the organization. Ability to function independently and in a team environment. Must be detailed oriented. Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities. Embody a customer service approach and troubleshoot problems with a "can do" attitude. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have excellent telephone etiquette. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, Internet research, and social media platforms. Performs all duties as assigned
Responsibilities
- Manages all methods of generating physician candidates with a specific emphasis on self-sourcing viable candidates for all open positions in designated market(s).
- Communicates effectively with key stakeholders throughout the physician recruitment process in an effort to keep all parties informed about current status, recruitment progress, and action items as needed.
- Manages all aspects of the physician interview process with a specific emphasis on assessing the fit for both parties and representing all opportunities with honesty and veracity.
- Completes assigned goals.

Minimum Required
- Minimum three years of experience in physician recruitment or other related recruitment fields or in sales, marketing, or customer service positions in the healthcare industry
Preferred/Desired
- Direct experience in physician recruitment and/or medical practice administration. Working knowledge of various external market forces affecting medical groups, hospitals, and physicians.
Education
Minimum Required
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, health care administration or a related field.
Preferred/Desired
- Master?s degree in a related field.
