Retina Consultants of Texax (RCTX) is seeking an individual who will, Under the direction of the Sr. Director of Marketing and Brand Manager, the Physician Liaison serves as a representative of Retina Consultants of Texas, maintaining our existing referring provider relationships, cultivating new business opportunities and executing a multitude of business initiatives.

RCTX is one of the largest and most respected retina-only ophthalmology practices in the United States, dedicated to preserving vision for patients throughout the state. RCTX has three certified research centers and is one of the leading sites for retinal research in the country. All Retina Consultants of Texas physicians are board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and specialize exclusively in diseases and surgery of the retina, vitreous and macula. In addition, RCTX has both uveitis and ocular oncology specialty divisions, which focus on inflammation and cancer treatments of the eye. Our surgeons have studied at some of the most renowned institutions in the nation and all have graduated at the top of their classes.


Starting salary $57,000+ dependent on experience.


RCTX follows all CDC and local authority protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of the patients, providers, employees and communities.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Work in collaboration with the marketing team to increase visibility of services and increase referrals by strategically targeting referral sources
  • Analyze data to determine opportunities for potential growth
  • Problem solving to maintain healthy referral relationships
  • Organizing a plan with adequate research prior to visiting referring providers in the field
  • Promote and engage providers in our continuing education events
  • Promote RCTX technologies to improve communication with referral sources
  • Distributing branded materials to increase brand awareness
  • Provide educational handouts and resources to improve patient education
  • Promote RCA Research opportunities
  • Monitor competition and gather feedback from referral sources
  • Thoroughly document and report visits on a weekly basis
  • Other administrative tasks such as mileage, reporting and expenses
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years outside healthcare service sales experience
  • Proven sales and marketing track record
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of the retina/ophthalmology market and basic medical terminology
  • Strong strategic thinking, communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
