Work Shift
Day (United States of America)Wellstar Health System is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible General (Non-Invasive) Cardiologist to join our expanding team at the new Wellstar Columbia County Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing program and contribute to the development of cardiovascular services in a rapidly growing region.
The ideal candidate is patient-focused, collaborative, and committed to clinical excellence in non-invasive cardiology.
Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient general cardiology services
Interpret non-invasive studies including:
Echocardiography
Stress testing
EKG and Holter monitoring
Participate in hospital rounding and consults
Share call responsibilities with other cardiologists in the region
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including advanced practice providers, electrophysiologists, and interventional cardiologists
Help build and shape the cardiology service line at a new, state-of-the-art hospital
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease
Board certified/board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Georgia
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Be a founding provider at the new Wellstar Columbia County Hospital
