Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams
- Develop and implement personalized care plans for patients
- Prescribe medications and other treatments in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Educate patients and their families on health management, preventive care, and treatment options
- Document patient interactions accurately and maintain detailed medical records
- Stay current with medical research, best practices, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
Master's degree from an accredited PA program
NCCPA Certification (PANCE passed)
Vermont PA license (or eligibility)
Proven experience as a PA in a primary care setting preferred
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare software
Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
