Physician and APP Experience Specialist

The Physician & APP Experience Specialist supports the Manager of Physician & APP Development and Engagement in designing, coordinating, implementing, and continuously improving initiatives that promote physician and APP engagement, professional growth, resilience, and fulfillment across Endeavor Health. This role advances a culture that prioritizes lifelong learning, wellness, and sustainable clinical practice while contributing to the organization’s goal of becoming a center of excellence for provider experience. Working in close partnership with physician leaders, Human Resources, Medical Staff Services, Education, and Marketing, the Specialist develops and supports provider-centered programs that strengthen leadership capacity, reduce burnout, and enhance career satisfaction.

The Specialist also leverages data analytics and AI-enabled tools to support program development, analyze engagement trends, synthesize feedback from surveys and listening sessions, and develop educational and communication materials that scale impact across the system. Through evidence-informed programming, technology-supported insights, and strong partnerships, this role supports Endeavor Health’s physician and APP workforce strategy by integrating engagement, development, and wellbeing into a cohesive, system-wide approach that advances long-term professional fulfillment, workforce sustainability, and high-quality patient care.

  • Hours: Monday-Friday, during normal business hours

What you will do:

Physician & APP Engagement, Development & Wellbeing Program Design & Delivery

  • Design and support system-wide physician and APP engagement, professional development, and wellbeing initiatives

  • Coordinate the planning, implementation, and evaluation of workshops, learning events, and wellbeing programs

  • Integrate wellbeing and professional development principles into recognition, engagement, and broader organizational initiatives

  • Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement by leveraging AI-enabled analytics, workflow efficiencies, and content development tools

Assessment, Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement

  • Coordinate physician and APP engagement, development, and wellbeing assessments, including surveys, focus groups, and listening sessions to gather meaningful feedback.

  • Utilize analytics platforms and AI-assisted tools to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data, identify trends and areas of risk or opportunity, and develop reports, dashboards, and executive summaries to inform leadership and strategic planning.

  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations to strengthen the physician and APP experiences, improving program effectiveness through the strategic tailoring of system-wide initiatives.

Recognition, Professional Growth & Culture Building

  • Coordinate physician and APP recognition, leadership development, mentorship, and milestone programs that celebrate professional excellence, growth, and contribution.

  • Partner with leaders to strengthen meaningful recognition and career support practices, fostering a culture of belonging, connection, and continuous learning.

Communication, Education & Resource Development

  • Develop and maintain accessible resources, toolkits, and educational materials that support physician and APP engagement, leadership development, and wellbeing, using AI-assisted tools to enhance content creation and scalability.

  • Partner with HR, Education, and Marketing teams to ensure consistent, values-aligned communication and promotion of engagement and wellbeing initiatives.

  • Provide training and consultation to physicians, APPs, and leaders on engagement, development, and wellbeing programs and available resources.

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Public Health, Mental Health, or related field, required. Master’s degree, preferred.

  • Certification: Certifications in wellbeing, project management, or similar skill, preferred

  • Experience: 4-5 years of experience in wellbeing, employee engagement, recognition programs, or a related area.

  • Unique or Preferred Skills:

    • Knowledge of physician and APP engagement, leadership development, and wellbeing principles within healthcare organizations.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret engagement and workforce data to inform program improvements.

    • Ability to utilize AI-assisted tools and digital platforms for data analysis, content development, reporting, and operational efficiency.

    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with the ability to translate insights into clear and actionable recommendations.

    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, physician leaders, and organizational partners.

    • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

    • Commitment to fostering a culture of inclusion, professional growth, and continuous learning.

    • Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and needs.

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
