Job Description

Motorola Solutions is building talent pipelines to meet future hiring demands. This is a pipeline role, while there is not an immediate opening, we want to build relationships with prospective candidates like you. If your background is a match to our requirements, we’ll follow up with an exploratory conversation

These roles will be responsible for geographic regions and their surrounding markets, it is not mandatory, but preferred that you live in or near a territory that you will be supporting 

What these roles do:

  • Develop new business with end customers with emphasis on new account development

  • Drive territory engagement from trade shows, product demos/trainings, to lunch & learns

  • Create and manage a healthy sales funnel

  • Partner with distributors, integrators, and end users to drive sales in the territory 

  • Prospecting on a daily basis using all tools available will be key to the success of this position

  • Attain “Trusted Advisor” status with customers and Channel Partners to enable increased System and Business

  • Be a problem solver for partners (helping with quotes, proposals or helping troubleshoot objections)

  • Work Cross Functionally with other departments

  • Weekly and Quarterly Reporting around pipelines, partner pipelines and forecasting

  • Maintain best practices while working inside the CRM (Salesforce)

  • Travel extensively throughout the territory and occasional travel within North America 

What would make you a good fit: 

  • Hunter mentality: someone who wants to drive net new business

  • Exposure to networking systems and technology

  • Comfortable working through with partners to close deals 

  • Confident in presenting/demonstrating products

  • Willingness to gain knowledge of CRMs

  • Track record of exceeding expectations 

  • Able to lift objects up to 50 lbs. and basic mechanical assembly skills for equipment demos

  • Ability to reliably travel throughout the assigned territory, sometimes with minimal notice
