About the Role

At ARX Robotics, protecting our people, facilities, and technology is fundamental to delivering mission-critical autonomous defence systems. As our Physical Security Lead, you will lead the development and operation of our physical security capabilities, ensuring our sites remain secure as we continue to grow across Europe.

Reporting to the Head of Security, you will combine strategic ownership with hands-on execution. You will shape security standards, strengthen resilience across multiple locations, and work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to build a scalable physical security programme that supports our mission.

What You'll Build
  • Lead and continuously improve physical security across our offices, production facilities, and future sites.
  • Design, implement, and optimise physical security systems, including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and perimeter protection.
  • Develop scalable security standards, procedures, and operating models that support business growth and operational resilience.
  • Build strong partnerships with external security providers, driving performance, service quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Plan and deliver security concepts for executive visits, customer demonstrations, company events, and international trade fairs.
  • Develop protective security measures for senior leadership, including travel security and risk-based protection planning.
  • Conduct site security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement practical mitigation strategies.
  • Lead the operational response to physical security incidents and support emergency preparedness across all locations.
  • Partner with Facilities, Operations, IT, and external authorities to ensure consistent security standards and effective collaboration.
  • Support the successful launch of new sites by embedding security requirements from planning through operational readiness.

What You Bring
  • Extensive experience in physical security, protective security, corporate security, or critical infrastructure gained within defence, military, law enforcement, government, or comparable environments.
  • Strong expertise in physical security technologies, including access control, CCTV, alarm, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Experience managing external security providers, including vendor selection, contract management, and service performance.
  • A strong understanding of physical security risk management, incident response, and site resilience.
  • Experience developing security solutions for executive protection, events, or high-profile operational activities.
  • Confidence working across multiple stakeholders, building trusted relationships, and influencing decisions at all levels.
  • A pragmatic, structured, and solutions-focused approach with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational delivery.
  • Experience supporting security across multiple locations or within manufacturing, industrial, or high-security environments is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel between company locations and participate in on-call security support when required.
  • Fluency in English is required. German language skills are a strong advantage.

Please note: You do not need to meet every single requirement to apply. We welcome motivated candidates who are eager to grow into the role and develop their expertise further.
