We’re on the hunt for a bold and seasoned PHP Tech Lead to join our legendary Tebex team. As part of Overwolf, you’ll lead developers across the ever-evolving landscape of online payments, ensuring seamless, secure transactions for millions of gamers and creators around the world.
In this quest, you’ll serve as a core contributor to our SaaS platform, guide and mentor developers, and shape the technical direction of products that power the global creator economy.
This is a remote-first position.
5+ years of experience with PHP and Laravel, with a deep understanding of modern development methodologies and design patterns
- Strong knowledge of web development standards - RESTful APIs, microservices, caching, testing, and CI/CD
- Proven record of leading complex technical initiatives, mentoring engineers, reviewing code, and ensuring code quality
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose creative technical solutions
- Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL) and query optimization for performance
- Proficiency in automated testing (unit, feature, integration) for payment or transaction-based applications
- Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on security, reliability, and data integrity in financial systems
