About the role

•            Develop and maintain scalable, high-quality PHP applications within a Scrum team environment.

•            Implement new features and improve existing functionality based on business and user needs.

•            Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues, providing effective and timely solutions.

•            Collaborate with team members to design and validate technical approaches, including creating proof-of-concepts when needed.

              •            Ensure code quality through best practices, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.

•            Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing knowledge and promoting clean, maintainable code.

•            Support the team in making informed technical decisions aligned with project goals.

Key tasks

•            Proven experience as a PHP Developer, with a SOLID understanding of object-oriented programming.

•            Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining complex web applications.

•            Strong knowledge of the Symfony framework and its Doctrine ORM for database interactions.

•            Proficiency in MySQL, including writing and optimizing queries.

•            Familiarity with unit testing, particularly using PHPUnit.

•            Proficient in Git for version control, including experience with code reviews and collaborative development workflows.

Nice to have skills:

•            Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

•            Familiarity with Docker or other containerization tools.

•            Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with third-party services.

•            Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.

•            Basic front-end skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with front-end developers.

Clickedu serves nearby 700 centres with 1,500,000 users around Spain and Andorra.

Additional information:

Hybrid work from Barcelona preferable, but if candidate very good remote work to be considered.

Strong junior will be also fine.
