POSITION TITLE: News Photojournalist (Videographer)
REPORTS TO: Chief Photojournalist
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Photojournalist (News Videographer) to add to our award-winning video team. You should be a creative storyteller and a motivated team player. We maintain high photojournalism standards and believe in giving feedback that encourages development. This is a Full-time position and may include weekend or overnight assignments. A clean driving record is a must.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Ensures the highest quality video and audio for all stories shot.
2. Maintains inventory of all assigned equipment (Camera/Microphones/Tripod/Lights, etc.) and responsible for its upkeep.
3. Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of station assigned vehicle.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
1. A valid Oklahoma Driver’s License.
2. Have some experience with nonlinear video editing systems, (drone and bonded cellular feed equipment
a plus). We will train you beyond the basics.
3. Ability to carry and operate equipment weighing over 65 pounds.
4. Must be able to work under extreme pressure, stress, and deadlines with or without a reporter.
5. Ability to shoot and edit under any type of weather condition or deadlines.
