More about the role

Philips Hue is the global leader in smart lighting solutions, revolutionizing how people interact with their lighting systems to create personalized and dynamic experiences. As an AI intern for Phillips Hue you will be part of the Project Management Office (PMO) team in our office in Eindhoven. The PMO is responsible for ensuring timely delivery, high-quality execution, and seamless coordination across teams to bring innovative products to market.

With the rapid advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its transformative potential, we are exploring how AI can support and optimize various business processes within the PMO. This internship invites creative and forward-thinking individuals to contribute to this exploration by experimenting with AI tools and technologies to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.

Your tasks:

• Analyze existing workflows & processes within the Project Management Office to identify tasks that could benefit from AI.
• Investigate industry best practices and Signify supported AI tools relevant to project management (e.g., predictive analytics, resource optimization, automated reporting).
• Develop small-scale proof-of-concepts (e.g., dashboards, automation scripts, action trackers, or AI-assisted scheduling) to demonstrate potential improvements.
• Deliver a structured plan outlining short-term and long-term steps for integrating AI into daily operations, including training needs and change management.
• Interns will be trained with all required knowledge, dedication and willingness to learn is required.

Your qualifications:

• Background in AI, data science, computer science, or related fields.
• Familiarity with project management principles and tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
