Background
Radar is a core perception technology in advanced driver assisted systems (ADAS) for enhancing safety and convenience. Future radar systems in vehicles will likely move to the higher millimeter-wave bands and incorporate more digital processing and machine learning capabilities. This Master thesis explores the topic of machine learning in automotive radar sensing in this context, leading to development of novel radar sensing approaches shaping future ADAS.
As a candidate for this position, it is expected that you have:
- Enrolled as a Master’s student in computer/electrical/electronic engineering, or a relevant field of study.
- Background in signal processing and machine learning.
- Strong experience in Matlab/Python scripting.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
- Strong motivation in working in an R&D environment.
