Certified Pharmacy Tech - Inpatient Pharmacy
Schedule:
- Work Schedule: 7-on / 7-off rotation
- Shift Length: 11-hour shifts
- Shift Hours: 1:30p - 1a
Additional Requirements:
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as part of the 7-on / 7-off rotation schedule. The position requires flexibility to meet departmental staffing needs during assigned work weeks.
Job Description:
- Pharmacy Tech II is a certified pharmacy technician position who supports pharmacy services by assembling and participating in the distribution of medications. A pharmacy technician II will need certification by a nationally recognized certification board. This position will assist the department’s professional staff, under direct supervision, in numerous aspects of ordering, receiving, storage, distribution, and monitoring medication use.
Requirements/Preferred Qualifications:
- Registration with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy (KY hospitals), within 30 days of hire date if you are a new registrant. If previously registered, you must have registration upon hire.
- Nationally certified as a pharmacy technician.
- Pharmacy work experience preferred.
