Primary Responsibilities- Dispense prescription medications accurately and provide medication counseling to patients.
- Review medication orders and patient profiles to identify potential drug interactions or adverse effects.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized medication treatment plans.
- Monitor patient responses to drug therapy and adjust medications as needed for optimal outcomes.
- Maintain medication inventory and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay updated on pharmaceutical knowledge and industry trends to provide the highest quality of care.
- Conduct medication therapy management services to enhance patient safety and adherence.
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active pharmacist license in the state of practice.
- Previous experience as a pharmacist is preferred.
