DEFINITION:
Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy this position fills orders for parenteral and oral medications, monitors patient drug therapies and provides drug information. Supervises and directs support personnel.
This is a safety sensitive position.
QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Completion of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy Degree.
Current state license as a Registered Pharmacist; Must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers; Possess or be willing to obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:
Experience in a hospital setting.
