The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for the supervision of pharmacy technicians and other technical employees and for the duties in a hospital pharmacy department with centralized unit dose and IV admixture services. The pharmacist dispenses medication upon receipt of the physician’s order; provides drug information to the staff; provides appropriate pharmaceutical care to patients; maintains and coordinates systems to ensure pharmacy operations are efficient; assists in development and implementation of policies and procedures, and of quality control and performance improvement measures; and performs duties of technical or clerical staff as required.
QualificationsLicensure in good standing as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Ohio.
Additional training in specific areas of disease state management, e.g., diabetes is preferred.
