As a full time, exempt 24 month, PGY-1, PGY-2 Pharmacy Resident with Masters at CPS Solutions, LLC, you will function as a clinical staff pharmacist, participating in education and service in the pharmacy or in a specialty area, attend meetings, complete assigned special projects onsite at various hospital locations. You will receive education and training in various areas of clinical pharmacy, pharmacy leadership and administration. You will also be educated in providing drug information and in pharmacy and therapeutics activities.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Interact with other health care professionals to make recommendations regarding drug therapy under the tutelage of a clinical pharmacy preceptor
• Evaluate and interpret orders; compound; and dispense medications according to written orders/prescriptions issued by an authorized prescriber
• Maintains professional competencies to meet current and future needs of the patients and customers

Required Qualifications:

• Selected for PGY-1 Residency Program through the ASHP Residency Match Program
• Able to obtain a State of Ohio Pharmacist license during the residency program

Preferred Qualifications:

• Thorough knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations governing pharmacy services
• Proficient in the use and application of new medications and technology
• Knowledge of pathophysiology, interpretation of diagnostic criteria, pharmacokinetics and pharmacotherapeutics
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively participate on an interdisciplinary team or committee
• Problem solving ability and analytical thinking

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $55,000 to $85,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
