Our Mission & Vision
To date, Grover has circulated over 1.2 million devices, employs over 400 people, and stands as one of the fastest-growing scale-ups in Europe. We hit Unicorn status in 2022, and are scaling internationally!
We're proud to champion a more sustainable way to use tech. With an average of 3-4 rental cycles per device depending on the category, we estimate that the rental of our portfolio from 2015-2021 resulted in 160,000 fewer e-waste products and about 250 tons of e-waste.
We are looking for a mid-level HR Admin Manager to join our talented People team hybrid (3 days minimum per week) at our Berlin HQ.
🎯 What you will contribute:
- Support & manage global employee contracts and maintain the HR database to ensure flawless accuracy and GDPR compliance in time
- Provide excellent onboarding and off-boarding experience in regard to all HR administrative topics including communication with authorities, not only in Germany, but internationally
- Support the monthly payroll administration for Germany and international entities by maintaining related people data
- Process and communicate German labour law in order to implement recommended policy updates to ensure proper compliance
- Manage HR related forms, confirmation and certificates with a high level of accuracy
- Bring a customer-focused approach to your work, helping to unpack an often complicated and overwhelming bureaucracy for a young, multicultural team
- Be part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment and the right candidate will excel by bringing the same mindset to HR Administration and showcasing the impact that HR done right can have on a high growth organization. This role is foundational to company and team success and the right candidate will have an outsized impact on the organization
- Research, recommend, and integrate emerging HR tech solutions to digitize existing processes and workflows

🤝What you bring:
- 1-4 years of experience in HR Administration or similar HR role with reliable application of German labor law and increasing levels of autonomy and ownership
- First experience in visa and relocation management (basic labour law knowledge for Portugal, Spain and the Netherlands would be a plus)
- Ability to keep up with fast scaling international environment without losing track
- Strong academic credentials. The subject matter is irrelevant - we care about demonstrated curiosity, critical thinking, pride of work, and perseverance
- Must exercise infallible discretion with confidential, sensitive information - Meticulous attention to detail and time sensitivity is a must
- Good business judgment, and a capacity for hands-on problem-solving to all work streams
- Experience with different HR Tools is a plus (BambooHR etc)
- Native German (Must!), Fluent English. While our company language is English, this role often requires smooth communication with various authorities and local agencies
