About The Role:
Reporting to the Director of Personal Lines, this role is responsible for the development of Account Coordinators and provides guidance and direction within the respective team for an identified area within the platform.
Responsibilities:

Lead the Personal Lines Account Coordinators in allocation of team responsibilities, help organize team schedules, provide guidance and direction regarding service workflows, and help support company and platform goals and expectations.

Help ensure team’s effective communication and collaboration and engage employees to achieve operational goals.

Keep aware of, and communicate progress towards, goals to ensure optimization of customer experience, operational efficiencies, etc. and provide manager with feedback regarding potential opportunities.

Support individual employee needs to successfully perform their job responsibilities to ensure daily operations are performed effectively and efficiently. Manage employees' performance and provide coaching and guidance to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency, using corrective action when necessary.

As needed, work with Manager and Human Resources to coordinate onboarding/orientation for mentoring new employees.

Support team members’ professional development by offering opportunities for training and growth when possible.

Help ensure team compliance with company policies and procedures.

Successfully manage own book of business through developing, maintaining, and expanding outstanding relationships with clients and successfully addressing their business needs.

Requirements:

Strong organizational and time management skills, along with a demonstrated attention to detail

Superior skills in operational leadership, employee development, and employee engagement

Communicates and interacts professionally and effectively with all levels of management, employees, and clients; Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills; be solution focused and be a change agent for the organization

Ability to establish credibility and develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders through ethics, integrity, professionalism, and mutual respect

Proven record of accomplishment of leading a team in a fast-paced work environment

Must demonstrate a high level of initiative, be a team player, and display resourcefulness to find win-win solutions for our employees, locations, clients, and the platform

Travel up to 25%
Education/Experience:
-
Bachelor's Degree or higher is preferred, or equitable experience

Property & Casualty license required

Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
-
Proficient computer skills with agency management software systems, preference for experience with APPLIED EPIC
