What You DoAccount Manager
- Receive phone calls and office visitors regarding changes to existing and or new policies. Determine acceptability and placement, make recommendations, complete applications or endorsements requests and collect premium where applicable.
- Inform, educate and make recommendations to clients about policy coverage, changes, exclusions and insurance coverage needs
- Handle all client, producer, and insurer service requests
- Maintain and develop advanced knowledge of underwriting and rating procedures for all types of policies.
- Maintain and further cultivate agency relationships with underwriters
- Review existing accounts to determine if an additional line of insurance or coverages of insurance should be recommended
- Mentor team members with emphasis on culture and morale
- High level agency management system tasks, accounting and claim management tasks
- Execute processes outlined in procedure manual
- Perform other duties as requested including exercising discretion and judgment prioritizing workload.
Your Education and Experience
Required
- Property and Casualty License must be obtained within 75 days of the first day of New Hire Onboarding
- Must have strong personal lines technical knowledge - minimum 7 years’ experience.
- The employee is responsible for adherence to the stated expectations of the E&O Plus Quality Management Program
Preferred
- Experience working with agency management systems
- Proficient skill level in Microsoft Office Suite
