POSITION SUMMARY:
A Perishable Order Filler (produce and meat) is responsible for fulfilling customer orders, which includes locating, picking, stacking, scanning, wrapping, and staging the individual orders in their respective staging lanes. Additionally, the order fillers must ensure that the correct quantity and product types are being selected to meet the company's productivity standards. The selectors must work quickly and efficiently, in addition to maintaining the accuracy of the orders. The selectors will work within three main product departments which include freezer, produce, and the dry area. The selectors are required to safely operate the electric pallet jack.

- Ability to select/pick orders for the company's clients.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. or more.
- Able to squat, bend, stoop, push, pull, kneel, and reach.
- Required to work in a food handling environment with varying climates, including dry, humid, cold, and hot.
- Ability to operate the electric pallet jack.
- Ability to meet/exceed productivity standards.
- Maintain equipment and report malfunctions.
- Perform any additional tasks as directed by management personnel.
- Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards. Perform any additional tasks as directed by warehouse leadership.
WORK EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION
- Previous experience as an order selector or other warehouse position preferred.
- Previous experience operating the electric pallet jack preferred.
- Previous experience using an RF scanner gun preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Diligent and punctual.
- Must be able to stand for the majority of the shift.
- Must be able to work in a refrigerated food handling environment
- Bilingual in English & Spanish, a plus.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and use the hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
- May need to lift, push and move products weighing an average of 55-75 pounds and as much as 100 lbs.
- Able to squat, bend, stoop, push, pull, kneel, and reach.
- Successful performance requires vision abilities that include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- The noise level ranges from quiet to loud.
- Exposure to extreme temperature changes, moisture, noise, odors, and moving equipment.
