Job Description Summary:

$15,000 SIGN-ON BONUS & BENEFITS ELIGIBILITY ON DAY ONE OF EMPLOYMENT
External applicants and newly licensed internal applicants may be eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus with a one-year work commitment. Previously employed applicants who have been gone from the organization more than 90 days may also be eligible.
The Perinatal Ultrasonographer provides patient care through OB/GYN ultrasound and Doppler Imaging. Under general supervision, performs routine and targeted sonograms, fetal echocardiograms and CW Doppler imaging studies. Assists in the performance of Level II and transvaginal sonographic studies and fetal/maternal diagnostic procedures.
This is for a full-time position, working Monday-Thursday 7:30a-5:00p and Friday 7:30a-11:30a. There is no weekend or major holiday coverage required. For this position the technologist will cover hours at our Maternal Fetal Medicine offices located at Doctors Hospital, Dublin Methodist Hospital, Grant Medical Center, and Riverside Methodist Hospital. We offer an annual uniform allowance and an annual allowance towards RDMS renewal.

Responsibilities And Duties:

50%
Performs routine OB/GYN sonograms includes Level I, II, BPP, Transvaginal l and reviews studies and reports with Perinatologist.
20%
Assist physician in fetal/maternal diagnostic procedures.
10%
Assists in resident teaching in ultrasound.
5%
Data entry of obstetrical ultrasound reports.
5%
Performs Doppler Imaging and fetal echocardiograms.
5%
Organizes activities to assure conformity to established policies and procedures and standards of quality care.
5%
Maintain and oversee satellite ultrasound machine on L&D.
As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

ARDMS registry - OB/ GYN preferred.  Must receive OB/GYN ARDMS certification within 1 year of hire.  Ideal candidate has two years’ experience in OB/GYN ultrasonography, PW Doppler Imaging, and fetal echocardiography
