- Optimizes ultrasound settings for accurate image acquisition.
- Differentiates normal from abnormal fetal anatomic development
- Identifies sonographic markers indicative of aneuploidy.
- Demonstrates knowledge of biotechnological and biomedical sciences relevant to sonography.
- Applies biomedical knowledge to patient care during sonographic procedures.
- Conducts thorough and precise ultrasound examinations. Communicates findings effectively to healthcare providers.
- Maintains patient comfort and safety during ultrasound procedures
- Keeps accurate and detailed patient records.
- Collaborates with medical team to provide comprehensive care.
- Participates in continuing education to stay current with sonographic practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:
- High School Grad or equiv [Required]
- Technical/Vocational School [Required]
Field of Study:
- Graduation from a school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Work Experience:
- 3+ experience in perinatal sonography [Required]
- Clinical ultrasound/vascular experience as approved by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in OB/Gyn [Required]
- Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography Experience [Preferred]
