Key Responsibilities
- Operate and manage extracorporeal circulation and cardiopulmonary support systems.
- Maintain counterpulsation, circulatory support, ventricular assistance, and ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation).
- Implement blood conservation techniques, autotransfusion, and myocardial preservation.
- Monitor anticoagulation, hematologic parameters, blood gases, and chemistry.
- Maintain hypothermia/hyperthermia induction and reversal, hemodilution, and hemofiltration.
- Administer medications, blood components, and anesthetic agents via the extracorporeal circuit.
- Ensure accurate documentation, data management, and quality control related to perfusion activities.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior and trainee perfusionists.
- Education: B.Sc / M.Sc in Perfusion Technology
- Experience: 3-5 years experience as a Perfusionist at a top institute
