Job Description
We are expanding our Consulting Services team and are seeking a skilled Performance Tester to join us. This role is focused on performance testing for Microsoft Dynamics 365 FinOps and CE applications, utilising modern performance testing tools and frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in system performance analysis, framework development, and performance optimisation for enterprise applications.
Key Accountabilities
• Accountable for overall performance testing and delivering insightful performance analysis reports for MD365 FinOps and CE applications.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) are met, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Lead and manage performance test automation and analysis using a variety of testing tools.
• Report to the Test Lead or Senior Test Manager with insights and recommendations for system optimisation.
• Ensure that all deliverables meet the required quality standards and are completed within project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, validate, and update Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) related to system performance, including key metrics such as response times, scalability, resource utilisation, and throughput.
• Develop a reusable performance testing framework and a suite of performance tests for Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications to validate NFRs as specified by clients and internal teams across various projects.
• Utilise common performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Azure Load Testing, Power BI Performance Analyzer, DAX Studio, Postman, and OData, etc.
• Provide detailed analysis and comprehensive reports on test results, identifying potential areas for optimisation and enhancement to improve system performance and reliability.
• Conduct structured knowledge transfer sessions and create thorough documentation to enable internal teams to effectively utilise, maintain, and scale the performance testing framework for future projects.
Qualifications
Key Competencies
• Expertise in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Azure Load Testing, Power BI Performance Analyzer, DAX Studio, Postman, and OData, etc.
• Experience in performance testing for Microsoft Dynamics 365 FinOps and CE applications, including batch job runs, data imports/exports, and integrations.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous integration tools.
• Optional (preferred): D365 / Dataverse experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
