Job Description:
We are looking for a forward-thinking Performance Strategy Director to lead the development of performance-driven strategies across major clients in the MENA region. You will act as the bridge between technology, data, and storytelling — shaping how we use performance media, analytics, and platforms to drive measurable business outcomes.
This is a client-facing (not client-handling) role suited for a confident communicator and storyteller with strong experience in performance strategy, search, and data-driven planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the performance strategy for key clients across markets, ensuring integration of data, tech, and communications thinking.
- Partner with client leads and media teams to define growth opportunities through performance-based frameworks (ROAS, CPA, demand and bidding optimization, etc.).
- Translate complex data and platform insights into clear, compelling narratives that drive decision-making at the client level.
- Collaborate closely with digital, media, and creative teams to build strategies grounded in technology, search, and consumer behavior insights.
- Maintain a strong understanding of performance ecosystems (search, social, commerce, analytics, programmatic) and how they interconnect.
- Support thought leadership initiatives by contributing to internal best-practice playbooks, presentations, and client strategy sessions.
- Mentor and guide performance strategists and planners to foster analytical and storytelling excellence across the team.
Requirements
- 13-15 years of experience in performance strategy, media, or digital marketing — ideally within agency or consultancy environments.
- Proven expertise in search and performance marketing, including bidding strategies, demand analysis, and optimization.
- Strong understanding of technology-driven categories such as telecom, tech, or data-intensive industries.
- Ability to translate data into actionable strategies and articulate them with clarity and confidence to senior clients.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills — capable of simplifying technical concepts for business audiences.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on exposure to performance measurement, attribution, and media efficiency frameworks.
- Regional experience in MENA preferred; however, we welcome candidates with advanced-market exposure (UK, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Singapore) and confidence in English communication.
- Experience in AI language models and tools and their application in enhancing strategic analysis, audience understanding, and content optimization.
