We're looking for an experienced Performance Marketing Specialist to own our paid advertising efforts in the Canadian market. Reporting to the Growth Marketing Lead, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management and optimization of our paid marketing campaigns including Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more as our marketing mix evolves.
This is a hands-on role where you'll execute campaigns, analyze performance, and drive measurable business results. You'll work alongside our Growth Marketing Lead to build a comprehensive paid acquisition strategy for the Canadian market.
Your key focus areas will be:
- Own and execute paid marketing campaigns including audience targeting, creative testing, budget management, and ongoing optimization
- Develop and test audience segmentation strategies to reach HR decision-makers, business owners, and other key personas
- Collaborate closely with the Growth Marketing Lead to align paid marketing efforts with broader acquisition goals
- Analyze campaign performance and provide regular reporting on key metrics
- Recommend strategic improvements based on data insights, platform updates, and market trends
- Partner with creative and content teams to develop compelling ad creative that resonates with the Canadian market
- Stay current on platform changes, new features, and industry best practices in paid social and programmatic advertising
- Manage relationships with platform reps and external vendors as needed
- Contribute to budget planning and provide input on channel investment decisions
To thrive at Employment Hero, you’ll need to embody The EH Way - operating with focus, agility, and an obsession with impact. For this role, you’ll also bring:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience managing paid marketing campaigns across multiple platforms
- Proven track record of driving measurable business outcomes (leads, pipeline, revenue) through paid channels
- Deep knowledge in campaign structure, audience targeting, bidding strategies, and conversion optimization
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in analytics platforms and associated tools (Google Analytics, platform-specific dashboards, BI tools, Excel/Google-Sheets)
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to own campaigns end-to-end with minimal oversight
- Growth mindset with a persistent openness to learn, develop and improve.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate performance data into clear recommendations
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
