We are seeking a Performance & Reporting Specialist to support performance measurement, reporting, and related operational activities across multi-asset portfolios.

This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience working with investment data, reporting systems, and performance calculations.

This role will be based in St. John’s or Toronto. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement to work three days a week in the office.

What you’ll do
  • Support performance measurement and reporting activities across multi-asset portfolios.
  • Monitor, validate, and analyze portfolio returns, including investigation of outliers.
  • Perform data integrity checks and controls to ensure accurate performance calculations.
  • Work with investment management and reporting systems such as Investment Metrics, CRIMS, Eagle, Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar systems.
  • Assist with client onboarding, account setup, and reporting configuration.
  • Support GIPS® implementation and compliance activities, where applicable.
  • Maintain documentation for reporting processes, operational procedures, and client-specific requirements.
  • Partner with investment and client teams to respond to performance-related inquiries.
  • Help improve business processes and support cross-functional collaboration.
  • Manage multiple internal operations projects and support day-to-day process coordination.
What you need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance, economics, business, accounting, mathematics, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in performance measurement or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of performance measurement best practices and return calculation methodologies.
  • Understanding of investments, portfolio construction, and multi-asset benchmarking.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience working across teams and supporting change initiatives.

Marsh is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $75,500 to $113,500.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
