We’re seeking an experienced Performance Media & Analytics Lead to shape, govern and optimise RAC’s performance media and digital analytics capability across the broader RAC Group.
This pivotal role unifies go-to-market strategy, media investment and analytics into a data-driven engine that lifts digital performance, drives commercial impact and creates more connected member experiences.
What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Media Strategy, Planning and Analytics, you will:
- Lead RAC’s performance media strategy, planning and optimisation across all digital channels, ensuring investment decisions are data-led and aligned to enterprise priorities.
- Establish and embed a unified analytics and measurement framework across Member, Value & Connection, governing tagging, tracking, reporting and data quality.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of performance media specialists and digital analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, curiosity and continuous improvement.
- Translate complex performance data into clear, actionable insights that influence senior leaders and guide investment decisions.
- Own a single, prioritised roadmap and backlog for performance media and analytics initiatives.
- Design and embed strong governance and operating models that reduce duplication and clarify accountability.
- Act as the central point of contact for performance media and analytics across Brand & Marketing, Digital Experience, Product, Technology and P&C.
- Partner closely with RAC’s media agency and external partners to maximise ROI and capability uplift.
What you will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or a related discipline (postgraduate qualifications desirable).
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary performance media and analytics teams in a complex organisation or agency environments.
- Strong expertise in digital media performance, measurement frameworks, analytics governance and optimisation.
- Demonstrated success simplifying complex digital ecosystems and establishing fit-for-purpose operating models.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders through insight and storytelling.
- A member-centric mindset, commercial acumen and a passion for continuous improvement.
- The confidence to navigate ambiguity and bring clarity, focus and momentum.
