As a key member of the marketing team, your primary responsibility will be to drive new subscriber growth using effective performance marketing strategies and channels. This will require expertise in paid digital marketing channels, with a particular focus on paid social, paid search, and affiliate marketing in that order. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop go-to-market strategies that position FloSports as the go-to destination for sports enthusiasts. Additionally, you will directly contribute to driving growth and developing top-notch digital strategies for FloSports. This position is based in Austin, Texas.

Reporting to the Director, Performance Marketing, you should have a data-driven, entrepreneurial mindset and be highly collaborative. Your success in this position will be measured by your ability to build scalable campaign portfolios through cutting-edge ad product expansion, ad technology, test and learn agenda, and a focus on performance versus plan. You are expected to drive growth across different customer segments and sports verticals while maintaining a healthy ROI.

The role of the Manager, Performance Marketing involves overseeing all aspects of the strategic process of channel optimization. This includes providing directives to our paid media agency for day-to-day campaign execution. Responsibilities include developing the performance marketing budget model, setting KPIs and benchmarks, creating experimentation roadmaps and timelines, and reporting performance to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

As part of a growing team of marketers, you will be responsible for developing best-in-class paid media strategies for FloSports. The focus will be on driving incremental opportunities for acquisition while improving customer acquisition cost (CAC) and customer lifetime value (LTV) through marketing campaigns, experiments, and stretch projects.


  • Collaborate with our paid media agency to define growth plans, channel mix, and analyze data and analytics to achieve growth goals.
  • Plan and oversee the launch of paid media campaigns to acquire and activate new users in a scalable and efficient manner.
  • Define and take ownership of key performance indicators (KPIs), monitoring performance metrics daily, weekly, and monthly. Iterate quickly to optimize results, proactively identify obstacles, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Contribute to refining media mix and marketing attribution models to allocate resources effectively and drive growth.
  • Collaborate with various marketing functions (integrated marketing, product marketing, brand, design, and customer support), as well as other departments (content, strategy, and product) to enhance user experiences and improve marketing reach and efficiency.
  • Develop and lead a strategy for executing data-driven, performance marketing campaigns that align with strategic market moments (seasonality) to reach target audiences.
  • Support an agile marketing process by conducting rapid experimentation across existing channels, campaigns, creative elements, and incentives to create scalable solutions.


  • 6+ years of experience in performance marketing, managing a large budget in a B2C function.
  • Proven success in building and executing growth strategies for hyper-growth and scaled companies.
  • Deep understanding of programmatic media buying, specifically paid search, display, and social media platforms.
  • Experience with campaign automation and bid optimization tools.
  • Strong analytical background and proficiency in rigorous data tools and data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data, including KPI reports, and translate insights into actionable steps.
  • Track record of performance optimization and leading large, cross-functional teams.
  • BS/BA in Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Computer Science, or related technical field is a plus.
  • Previous work experience in subscription-based businesses, technology, media, or sports is a plus.
