This role owns performance outcomes across paid media channels and works closely with agency and platform partners to optimize campaigns and drive efficient customer acquisition. While day-to-day execution is primarily handled by agency partners, the role requires sufficient platform fluency to step in when needed and make informed optimization decisions.

The successful candidate is a collaborative, data-driven marketer who thrives in an agile, performance-led environment and is comfortable balancing near-term optimization with longer-term growth planning.

The Core Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager and Product Marketing team to plan and execute go-to-market campaigns, including channel strategy, budgets, KPIs, success metrics, and measurement frameworks.
  • Act as the primary performance marketing point of contact across internal stakeholders (Product, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Finance, Analytics) and external agency and platform partners to coordinate timely ad launches, updates, and testing initiatives.
  • Review and QA campaign strategy, testing plans, creative performance, campaign setup and reporting outputs developed by agency and platform partners.
  • Manage and oversee budgets across all performance channels, providing data-backed recommendations on allocation, scaling, and efficiency improvements.
  • Drive a culture of testing and learning by identifying high-impact experiments to improve conversion rates, reduce CAC, and unlock incremental growth.
  • Identify and evaluate new channels, formats, and platform betas in partnership with agencies and platform partners.
  • Own and maintain EQ Bank’s Marketing Mix Model (MMM) in partnership with our data science partner, ensuring it is regularly updated with new data and used as a strategic input to inform media investment decisions, channel prioritization, and budget planning across the performance portfolio.
  • Leverage Google Analytics and Looker dashboards to assess channel effectiveness, diagnose funnel performance, and inform optimization direction.
  • Deliver weekly, quarterly, and ad-hoc performance reporting with clear insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, product teams, and agency and platform partners.
  • Collaborate with affiliate marketing partners to identify opportunities for incremental sign-ups and growth.
  • Stay current on industry trends, platform updates, and emerging best practices, sharing insights and test ideas with the broader marketing team.
