This is a career-defining opportunity for someone who wants to build something meaningful, not just have a job. You’ll work in a small, close-knit team, driving growth through high-impact lead generation campaigns across display, social, CRM, SEA, and beyond. By combining creativity, data-driven strategies, and the smart use of AI and marketing technology, you’ll design and execute initiatives that directly shape our customer pipeline. With ownership, trust, and support, your energy and expertise will play a pivotal role in scaling hearing care across South Africa. 

What You'll Be Doing 

  • Own and execute South Africa’s customer acquisition strategy across key lead generation channels (display, social, CRM, SEA, paid search etc.) 
  • Monitor, analyse, and optimise performance against all KPIs across the funnel, ensuring measurable impact at every stage
  • Drive continuous lead generation and growth by designing, testing, and optimising performance-driven campaigns, creatives, and messaging that balance volume, quality, cost efficiency, and conversion impact 
  • Manage and optimise the full online and offline customer journey, improving conversion rates through data-driven insights, AI-powered tools, and innovative communication concepts 
  • Build and strengthen hear.com’s brand presence while keeping performance at the core of all initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with the South African leadership team and international marketing hubs (Miami, Denver, Seoul, Berlin) to share best practices and scale winning strategies

Skills & Experience 

  • EducationBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is desirable 
  • Experience6–8 years’ experience in performance, digital, or growth B2C marketing, with a proven track record of scaling lead generation and optimising customer acquisition 
  • Channel Expertise: Hands-on management of at least two major performance channel (Google Ads, Facebook/Meta Ads, Display etc.) 
  • Strategy & Execution: Proven ability to plan, implement, and optimise customer acquisition campaigns across multiple channels 
  • Analytics & Data: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, run A/B tests, and translate insights into actionable improvements 
  • Conversion Knowledge: Deep understanding of how content, messaging, and creative drive conversions 
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Languages: Fluency in English, Afrikaans would be desirable  
  • AI & Automation: Experience using AI-driven tools to improve workflows, generate insights, and optimise campaigns 
  • Technology: Familiarity with CRM systems,  marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Braze), web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, GA4), data tools (e.g. Domo), and experimentation tools (e.g., Optimizely, Figma) 
  • Bonus: Experience working with third-party platforms, partners, or vendors to execute paid marketing campaigns

  • You improve conversion rates at each stage of the funnel 
  • You optimise channel mix to maximise ROI and customer lifetime value

Working Structure 

  • Based in Cape Town with a focus on in-office collaboration (3 days in office, 2 days remote) 
  • Flexible hours, ideally mostly aligned with standard weekdays
