The main aim of the role is to do things that Matter. As a highly proactive, trustworthy and autonomous member of the global Mattering team, you will help to support the marketing direction and drive business growth – ensuring that purpose is intertwined throughout.
As Performance Mattering Manager, you’ll be a hands-on performance marketer who loves turning ad spend into measurable growth. You have a sharp eye for what makes an ad stop the scroll - and you know how to make it convert too. Indirectly managing a pod of 3, you’ll shape strategy across several brands, run experiments and translate data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
Our ideal candidate has worked across different industries and understands how to think strategically, while also being able to execute work quickly. You’re comfortable interrogating a bidding strategy and know how to hold a brand standard across every paid touchpoint. We’d be especially interested in hearing from candidates who have experience working internationally, as our teams are spread across the US, UK and India. We’re a fast paced, collaborative, goal-focused team.
Objectives.Increase deals from paid channels whilst managing CPD and CPA for each brand.
Improve paid search CTR and landing page conversion rates.
Maintain top visibility for core non-brand terms.
Outline and document a test-and-learn framework delivering CRO.
Demonstrate positive team engagement and manage the professional development of pod members.
Ensure paid creative is consistently on-brand, high quality and optimized for performance across all channels.
Work with other Performance Mattering Managers to support and upskill the wider Performance Marketing Team across all brands.
Leadership.
Lead a team of Performance Marketing Analysts, with activity split across the AnswerForce, LEX Reception, and ServiceForge brands.
Set objectives for pod members, coach on best practices, including teamwide rituals, and conduct regular performance reviews.
Champion performance marketing initiatives, share learnings and trends with the wider Performance team and broader stakeholders to inform wider brand-level strategy.
Collaborate effectively across global time zones, contributing to a team culture that is async-friendly and inclusive.
Conduct quarterly competitor analysis in collaboration with the team to monitor competitor strategies, identify market trends, and recommend opportunities to strengthen our competitive position.
Paid search & display.
Own the end-to-end optimization of Google Ads, Bing Ads and paid social accounts for AnswerForce, LEX Reception and ServiceForge.
Working with your team, monitor daily performance and implement tactical adjustments to drive quality, cost, and conversion efficiencies.
Develop and manage retargeting strategies across display and search - ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right time.
Think outside the box, be creative and drive impact - remember, we care about work that matters.
Paid social.
Plan and manage campaigns on platforms including Meta, LinkedIn and YouTube.
Explore new channels for testing and campaigns including Reddit and emerging platforms.
Create structured tests on audiences, creatives and placements.
Act as a creative quality gate - briefing designers and content teams, reviewing ad creative and ensuring every asset is both on-brand and optimized for performance.
CRO.
Lead a data-driven experimentation roadmap for landing pages - working with project managers, designers, content team and developers.
Responsible for landing page updates and optimisations via our CMS.
Reporting & insight generation.
Build and maintain dashboards that track daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s.
Translate performance data into actionable recommendations for improvements.
Interrogate deal quality from click to sales conversion - providing insights into improvements across the sales funnel.
Budget & forecasting.
Manage six-figure monthly budgets, forecasting spend and results by channel and campaign.
Reallocate budgets to maximize revenue and maintain efficiency.
Ad-hoc projects.
Be a proactive senior member of the Marketing team; learn from senior management, seek out areas of improvement, and work to take ideas from concept through to delivery.
Manage agency and vendor relationships where relevant.
Work with the sales and service team to deeply understand our audience and customers, and to translate digital marketing data into actionable insights.
Mattering.
Understand user touchpoints, interrogate processes and improve customer experience.
Ensure that brand consistency and high standards are maintained throughout all touchpoints.
Be a custodian for ‘mattering more’ and weaving in mission and value throughout Marketing activity.
Skills Required
