Warp: We're Building the Platform for Agentic Development
The Role

Warp: We're Building the Platform for Agentic Development

Warp began with the vision of reimagining one of the fundamental dev tools — the terminal — to make it more usable and powerful for all developers. As AI has advanced, Warp has evolved beyond its terminal roots into a full agentic development environment: a workbench for dispatching agents to code, deploy, and debug production software.

Today, we have two products: Warp, the agentic development environment born out of the terminal, and Oz, our orchestration platform for running hundreds of cloud agents in parallel. With both products, we’re creating the scaffolding for developers to build their own workflows for working with agents.

In Warp, seamlessly switch between running commands, launching agents, and iterating on code with agents— eliminating the need to jump between a terminal and an IDE. It all works with our built-in SOTA agent or top agents like Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, and OpenCode. In Oz, build custom agents that are triggered programmatically, tracked centrally, and are shared across full teams to run agents across organizations without compromising security or reliability. Continue cloud agent runs that were triggered by Oz locally in Warp or on the web with one click.

With over 700,000 active developers at companies including Docker, Ramp, Peloton, and over half of the Fortune 500 and revenue that grew over 44x last year, Warp is one of the fastest-growing startups in the AI development space.

Our mission has remained the same even as AI has advanced: to empower developers to ship better software more quickly, freeing them to focus on the creative and rewarding aspects of their work. If you want to help define what development looks like in the agentic era at a company where your work reaches hundreds of thousands of engineers every day, we'd love to have you. For more information on our team and culture, we highly recommend reading our How We Work.

The Role

Warp is one of the fastest-growing products in the AI developer space, and now we need someone to pour fuel on that fire. We’re looking for a Lead, Growth Marketing to own the engine behind Warp’s self-serve business and support enterprise pipeline - the full spectrum from acquisition to activation to monetization. You’ll lead paid and organic growth across digital channels, own Warp.dev as a conversion surface, and partner deeply with Product, Engineering, and Data to run experiments that move the business.

This isn’t a “manage the ad accounts” role. You’ll set the strategy for how Warp shows up across the web - from paid search and YouTube to SEO. You’ll decide where we invest, what we test, and how we scale. And you’ll do it in a market where the playbook is still being written.

In this role you will own:

  • Self-Serve Growth Strategy: Act as the marketing owner for Warp’s self-serve business. Define the acquisition strategy across channels, partner with Growth Product on activation and monetization experiments, and identify the highest-leverage opportunities to drive signups, upgrades, and self-serve revenue.
  • Performance Marketing: Lead paid acquisition from strategy through execution — channel mix, audience targeting, creative testing, budget allocation. Optimize CAC, payback, and channel ROI through rapid iteration across both self-serve and enterprise motions.
  • Demand Generation & Enterprise Pipeline: Build and scale demand gen programs that drive qualified pipeline for Warp’s enterprise business. Design ABM campaigns, targeted digital acquisition, and nurture programs that convert developer adoption into team and enterprise revenue. Partner with Sales and GTM to align on pipeline goals, lead quality, and conversion metrics.
  • Website & Conversion Optimization: Own Warp.dev as a growth surface — homepage, landing pages, product pages. Lead testing and experimentation with Product and Design to improve discoverability, conversion, and activation.
  • SEO & Answer Engine Optimization (AEO): Drive organic acquisition through technical SEO and structured content. Build Warp’s visibility in AI-driven discovery surfaces — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini — where developers are increasingly starting their tool searches.
  • Analytics & Experimentation: Define growth KPIs across the funnel. Build dashboards, run forecasts, and surface insights that drive decisions. Foster a test-and-learn culture with tight feedback loops and rapid iteration.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and GTM. This role sits at the intersection of marketing and product — you’ll need to be as comfortable in a data review as you are in a campaign brief.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in growth, digital, or performance marketing - ideally in a PLG or developer-first SaaS environment
  • Proven track record scaling self-serve acquisition, activation, and monetization
  • Deep experience with paid acquisition, SEO, and website conversion optimization
  • Strong analytical chops - attribution, funnel modeling, cohort analysis, experimentation frameworks
  • Comfortable partnering directly with Product, Engineering, and Data teams
  • You’ve operated in high-growth environments where the playbook wasn’t handed to you

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience marketing to developers or technical audiences
  • Familiarity with the AI development ecosystem, developer tools, or adjacent spaces
  • Early experimentation with AI-driven discovery channels
  • You’ve written code, shipped a side project, or just genuinely love dev tools.

Salary Transparency

Total compensation at Warp consists of two parts: 1) a competitive base salary, and 2) meaningful equity.

When we find the right person, we try to put our best foot forward with an offer that excites you. The budgeted compensation range for this role is targeted at $200,000 – $250,000. Final total compensation depends on experience and expertise.

In addition to salary, all employees receive further compensation in the form of equity in the company. This is a meaningful stock option grant with a four-year vesting period and one-year cliff. Your equity is where most of the significant upside potential is. Comparing startup equity is always a bit tricky, so we’re happy to walk you through different valuation scenarios at the offer stage in order to help paint a clearer picture of the upside.

Final total compensation is determined by multiple factors including your experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Salary & Meaningful Equity – we will stretch to get the right talent on board
  • Full Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits for employees (80% coverage for dependents)
  • Flexible remote-first culture, with optional office spaces in NYC and SF for folks who want to work together IRL
  • Pre-tax FSA Health Savings Plan
  • Pre-tax Commuter Benefit
  • 20-days of Paid Time Off
  • Unlimited Sick Time Off
  • 12 US Holidays
  • 16 weeks of paid Parental Leave for both birthing and non-birthing parents
  • Twice-a-year company retreats
  • Monthly gym and internet stipend
  • Guideline 401(k)
  • Complimentary OneMedical membership

Warp Compensation & Benefits Highlights

The following summarizes recurring compensation and benefits themes identified from responses generated by popular LLMs to common candidate questions about Warp and has not been reviewed or approved by Warp.

  • Fair & Transparent Compensation Pay is positioned as competitive for a well-funded startup, with strong total compensation bands across engineering and other core roles. Compensation is also framed as closer to "market-rate or better" with a workload tradeoff that feels favorable versus larger tech employers.
  • Equity Value & Accessibility Equity is commonly presented as a meaningful part of the package, with upside tied to the company’s funding and growth trajectory. The narrative around equity centers on potentially outsized outcomes if a major liquidity event occurs.
  • Healthcare Strength Healthcare is described as fully covered, which can materially increase the perceived value of the overall rewards package. This is reinforced by other benefits that reduce out-of-pocket burden and make total rewards feel more generous.

What We Do

Warp began with the vision of reimagining one of the fundamental dev tools—the terminal—to make it more usable and powerful for all developers. As AI has advanced, Warp has evolved beyond its terminal roots into the platform for Agentic Development: a workbench for dispatching agents to code, deploy, and debug production software. With over half a million active developers and revenue that has grown 8x since the beginning of 2025, we are in a unique position to impact the future of development. We believe that soon developers will be “tech leads” for groups of agents; rather than opening a code editor to write code or a terminal to write commands, they will open Warp and prompt their computer to build features, fix bugs, and diagnose production issues. With its starting point as a reimagined command line, Warp is well-positioned to support agent-first workflows: It sits at the lowest level in the dev stack, has access to all of a developer’s context, and is set up for multitasking and long-running processes. In addition, Warp has state-of-the-art code editing features and built-in team knowledge sharing. It’s the right interface for the agentic future. Our mission has remained the same even as AI has advanced: to empower developers to ship better software more quickly, freeing them to focus on the creative and rewarding aspects of their work.
