Fedcap is looking for an inspiring Performance Manager to lead a team of remote Job Brokers supporting young people into work across the region.

Drive Performance. Create Opportunities.

As Performance Manager, you’ll lead, coach and inspire a team of Job Brokers who are focused on one key goal: helping young people move into quality, sustainable employment.

Your team will work directly with employers to generate vacancies, placements and apprenticeships, build strong employer partnerships and connect young people with the right opportunities.

You’ll be responsible for creating a high-performing remote team culture, driving KPIs and employment outcomes, developing your people and ensuring the highest standards of customer service and programme delivery.

This is more than a management role. It’s an opportunity to lead a team that can change young people’s lives.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading, coaching and developing a geographically dispersed team of Job Brokers to achieve performance, quality and employment targets.

  • Building a high-performing remote team through regular coaching, performance reviews, feedback and development.

  • Driving employer engagement and vacancy generation, ensuring your team builds strong relationships with employers across the region.

  • Using performance data and insight to identify opportunities, address underperformance and continually improve results.

  • Building strong relationships with Jobcentre Plus, employers, training providers and other stakeholders to maximise opportunities for young people.

  • Ensuring young people receive high-quality, personalised support and are matched to sustainable employment opportunities.

  • Promoting innovative approaches to employer engagement, including reverse marketing and creating bespoke opportunities.

  • Ensuring compliance with contractual, quality and operational requirements while maintaining an excellent customer experience.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience leading and developing teams in a target-driven environment.

  • A natural coach who can motivate people, build confidence and unlock potential.

  • Strong performance management skills, with the ability to use data and KPIs to drive improvement.

  • Experience in employer engagement, recruitment, business development, employability, sales or a similar customer-facing environment.

  • Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.

  • The ability to lead effectively across a remote or geographically dispersed team.

  • A good understanding of local labour markets and employer recruitment needs.

  • Experience working with young people, employability programmes or disadvantaged groups is desirable.

  • Knowledge of apprenticeships, placements, reverse marketing or supported employment would be an advantage.
