As Performance Manager (Paid Search) in our Sydney office, you’ll support in leading performance across one of Australia’s largest retail brands. This role will focus on driving best-in-class paid search strategy, optimisation, and growth across Google and Microsoft advertising platforms, while collaborating closely with internal specialists, media teams, analytics, and client stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities:                                                                                   

  • Own end-to-end paid search strategy and execution across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, managing large-scale campaigns that drive revenue, and growth.

  • Optimise performance through keyword, audience, bid, and feed management, leveraging automation, insights, and platform innovations to scale results.

  • Manage budgets and pacing to maximise investment efficiency, ensuring campaigns deliver against performance targets and resolve delivery issues proactively.

  • Act as a key client and stakeholder partner, presenting performance insights, strategic recommendations, and collaborating cross-functionally with media, analytics, and creative teams.

  • Deliver clear reporting and drive innovation, translating data into actionable insights while testing new approaches (AI bidding, audience strategies, retail media) and staying ahead of industry trends.

A bit about you:

  • Proven paid search experience at scale, with significant budgets.

  • Ideally, hands on expertise across key platforms and tools including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and SA360,

  • Strong analytical and optimisation capability, with the ability to interpret data and drive performance improvements.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
