What you’ll achieve
As a Software System Principal Engineer, you will design, define and implement complex system requirements for customers and prepare studies and analysis of existing systems.
You will:
- Architect and Implement Automation Frameworks: Design and develop scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks
- Tool and Dashboard Development: Lead the creation of tools and dashboards for automated result collection, analysis, and reporting
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous validation
- Governance and Consistency: Establish and enforce governance processes to maintain consistency across automation practices
- Mentorship and Best Practices: Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for automation strategies

Essential Requirements
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python(preferred), Java, and C#
- Proven experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks
- Strong knowledge of developing tools and dashboards for automated processes
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration
- Excellent mentorship skills and ability to guide junior engineers
Desirable Requirements
- Experience with CPU/GPU/Power/Virtualization/AI performance benchmarking tools and knowledgeable in AI-based techniques for enhancing automation
- 8 to 12 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree or 6+ years with a master’s degree
Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $153,000.00 - $198,000.00.
