There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.

Summary: As a Performance Engineer, you will engage in diagnosing complex issues that the in-house performance testing team has been unable to resolve. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to analyze performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement effective solutions. You will also participate in discussions regarding software architecture and lifecycle, ensuring that performance considerations are integrated into the development process. Your role will require a proactive approach to problem detection and resolution, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the performance testing strategy. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Monitor and analyze performance testing results to drive continuous improvement. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Performance Testing Strategy. - Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and architecture. - Experience with performance testing tools and frameworks. - Ability to conduct capacity planning and application performance management. - Proficient in problem detection and resolution techniques. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Performance Testing Strategy. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
