What you’ll doTake task ownership in non-functional aspects, performance and scalability and be responsible for work estimates, execution and task closure initiatives
Design and develop our internal performance framework
Develop for performance, scale and resilience – your code will run in an uncompromising environment. Downtime, latency and data loss are intolerable.
Work with dev teams to analyse performance test results to identify areas for improvement and recommend changes as needed
Ensure that all performance testing activities are performed according to company standards
Continuous performance improvement and troubleshooting of critical components.
Work in compact, autonomous teams with short release cycles - we rely on agile, independent teams of sharp and driven people with just the right amount of processes to steer off anarchy and not sacrifice velocity
2+ years of experience in software performance testing (Load, Stress, Soak, Spike, Scalability)
Experience in Python
Experience with performance testing tools such as Locust, JMeter, Gatling, Grafana k6
Experience with performance testing microservices and API
A very good command of English and excellent communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field
Expertise in public cloud - AWS
Experience with containers and container orchestration systems - Docker, Kubernetes
Expertise in RDBMS - AWS RDS, MySQL/MariaDB/PostgreSQL
Familiarity with micro-services, distributed systems, and messaging queues (e.g., Kafka)
Experience with Grafana stack or similar tools
Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
