Job Summary & Responsibilities

Resposible to instrument and prepare vehicles/benchs for testing and driving testing vehicles according to procedures.
Understand and manage vehicles behavoir and understand how any change on this can affect the full behavoir of the vehicle.
Responsible to comply with maintenance and calibration schedules for dedicated equipment.
Knowladge of acquisitions systems and data bases
Responsible to get appropriate financial and other approvals as required.
Certify that vehicle and paperwork is properly prepped to perform the required activities.
Advises the product engineer on required changes related to vehicle components or vehicle performance
Report and follow up on problems found during testing.
Preparation of vehicles and setup of electronic devices, such as computers and remote conections between car and electronic devices.
Continuous improvement for efficiency and clear documentation of testing procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

Fluent English
5 years of experience in the automotive industry
5 years of driving experience (cars and trucks)
Valid license to drive vehicles in Mexico or international driving license
Bachelor's Degree - Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electronic/Automotive Engineering.
Capable of analyzing & synthesizing complex data
Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously, highly organized
Strong problem solving and interpersonal communication skills
Strong commuication skills working with cross functional teams and management
Quick learner and thorough in assignments

Prior experience in engineering
Prior experience managing people
ISO 9001 Internal Auditor

Skills Required
