The Performance Director is a key client facing leadership role responsible for running a team and client portfolio which develops world class digital strategies that drive key business outcomes for our clients’ businesses.  The Performance Director drives our customer driven, data led approach. This involves shaping highly relevant experiences for consumers by leveraging the correct channel mix and utilising the data led capabilities of our teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and drive the execution of annual client business plans. 

  • Become an extension of the clients business, establish excellent relationships with senior client contacts. 

  • Demonstrate through knowledge of Performance Strategy by having an unrivalled knowledge and experience across the different paid media touch points.

  • Play an active role in the development of case studies and award entries.

  • Develop a consistent test and learn culture with clients to optimise each campaign and deliver best in class results for them.

  • Develop the skills and knowledge of the team through mentoring, supervision and providing continual feedback on performance

  • Identify opportunities for your team to take ownership of tasks or projects – under your supervision – to aid in their development; give adequate room for them to grow within their roles and beyond

  • A thorough understanding of paid media performance channels, and the broader digital ecosystem.

  • Demonstrated experience running large scale integrated digital campaigns which drives measurable business outcomes

  • Responsible for the day to day quality of strategy and execution across your client digital campaigns.

  • Thorough knowledge of paid media tools and analytics platforms such as SA360, GA360, DV360, Facebook Business Manager etc. 

  • Deliver annual forecasts for each client and provide accurate updates on a monthly basis.

  • Strong expertise in search‑focused performance tools and analytics platforms, including SA360, GA360, and complementary biddable platforms that support advanced SEM optimisation.

  • Exceptional client-servicing capability, with the confidence and presence to lead complex Search conversations and manage senior stakeholders.

  • Proven experience leading large‑scale, search‑driven digital campaigns that deliver measurable commercial outcomes and demonstrate the impact of SEM and Paid Search within integrated ecosystems.

  • Deep understanding of search performance channels — SEM, Paid Search, and supporting SEO — and how they connect to the broader digital landscape to drive full‑funnel results.

  • Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to influence, guide, and elevate both internal teams and client stakeholders through a search‑first strategic lens.

  • Strong grasp of the wider digital ecosystem and the critical role search plays in shaping performance strategy, channel mix, and business growth.
