The Performance Operations team at Rimes are accountable for the monitoring, investigation and remediation of data quality issues in the foundational data. This involves a thorough understanding of the data pipeline, and communication with external Data Partners. Members of the team are responsible for diagnosing issues quickly, and subsequently liaising with Data Partners or else fixing/suggesting fixes internally. During this process there is also a responsibility to ensure that clients are kept informed on the progress, and that requests and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
As part of the team, you would support the Performance Operations team by monitoring and investigating data quality issues, liaising with Data Partners and internal teams, and helping ensure clients are kept informed while requests and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate Data Quality issues in a timely manner, looking for root causes, and subsequent remediation steps to take
- Liaise externally with Data Partners about data quality issues and liaise internally with Data Developers regarding remediation actions.
- Coordinate with Operations teams to uphold SLA commitments
- Serve as an escalation point for the Rimes Global Support team on calculation methodology queries
- Support the maintenance of the operational integrity of Rimes’ data quality
- Support implementation of sustainable fixes for recurring data issues, collaborating with other stakeholders.
Who you are:
- At least 3-5 years' work experience in data operations, data analysis, or financial/market data environments and experience working with data pipelines, data quality checks, or data investigations
- Working knowledge and experience in Databricks/SQL is a plus.
- A detail‑driven operator with strong analytical skills, ensuring every action is handled with precision - even under deadline pressure.
- A proactive and innovative problem‑solver who looks beyond the immediate entitlement request to identify smarter, more scalable ways of ways of working.
- AI-aware and tool-adaptable. Comfortable using AI-enabled tools to accelerate investigation, while applying sound judgement.
- Rapid learner in changing environments. Quick to learn new workflows and systems, adapting to tooling changes and making effective use of automation.
- A collaborative communicator, skilled at building strong relationships with third‑party data partners and internal stakeholders, and capable of managing escalations with maturity and sound judgement.
- Can do hybrid work with 2-3x a week onsite work.
