Job Description
Cost and performance controlling professional with experience in standard costing, financial analysis, cost-volume-profit analysis, inventory valuation, forecasting, reconciliations, and audit support. Skilled at translating financial data into clear insights that support business decisions, budget control, and operational performance improvement.
- Set and maintain standard costs for manufactured goods.
- Develop, review, and analyze cost standards to support accurate financial reporting.
- Establish and analyze costs related to administration, labor & burden.
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare audit reports, document findings, and support internal and external audit requirements.
- Provide costing recommendations based on financial and operational data.
- Manage inventory revaluation and cost of goods sold analysis.
- Prepare material forecasts using historical trends and analytical data.
- Reconcile actual results against forecasts and budgets, including bridge analysis.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in cost accounting, performance control, or financial analysis
- Strong proficiency in cost accounting principles and methodologies
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build complex spreadsheets and perform data analysis
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus)
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive reports
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency in variance analysis and cost control procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual capability in Spanish and English is preferred
- CPA certification or relevant accounting certification is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting is a plus
