What You’ll Do:
We are seeking a People & Talent Operations Generalist to join our team for a full-time, six-month engagement. The People & Talent Operations Generalist will offer talent acquisition and onboarding support as well as assist with HRIS/ATS systems entry, reporting and metrics-tracking that help power the foundation of our people practices. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering positive candidate and employee experience, who thrives on building smart and scalable processes, and ensuring data integrity and precision in HR systems and processes.
Recruitment and Talent Operations:
- Support the recruitment and hiring processes by helping to maintain job and candidate data within Greenhouse (ATS)
- Manage job postings across various platforms, ensuring accuracy in descriptions, and tracking incoming applications efficiently
- Conduct candidate sourcing and screening for open positions
- Work across with hiring managers and stakeholders for interview scheduling and coordination
- Disposition candidates in Greenhouse
- Conduct reference checks
People Operations support:
- Assist with new employee onboarding (onboarding communications and logistics, initiating and completion of background checks, etc.)
- Provide recordkeeping and document management support
- Create & route workflows for payroll processing
- Project support:
- Help design and build new & improved employee-facing People Operations intranet site in Confluence
- Help create manager-facing intranet content in Confluence
- Support employee engagement initiatives, including events, surveys, and recognition programs
- Assist with People Operations data and reporting initiatives
What We're Looking For:
- 1-3 years of experience as an HR Generalist, People Operations Coordinator, Recruiting/Talent Operations Coordinator or similar role
- Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in managing HR data and systems
- Proficiency with Greenhouse ATS system, including job setup, creating interview kits, scorecards, etc.
- Experience with building pages and/or maintaining data on intranet sites or other collaborative platforms, preferably Confluence
- Experience with HRIS systems, preferably UKG
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with candidates and employees at all levels
- Ability to give 1x1 or group presentations using slides and video conference platform(s) such as Google Meets or Zoom
- Ability to exercise solid judgment and manage confidential information with discretion
We'd Be Delighted If You Also Have:
- Strong Google Sheets / Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, etc.)
Work Location & Travel Requirements
Airship’s ‘Digital First’ approach to work means that for the majority of our roles, work can be performed remotely, either some or most of the time. Some roles may require that employees perform their work from a specific location to support business activities, and/or be within proximity to an Airship office location or customer or partner locations, while other roles can be performed 100% remotely.
This position is fully remote and may require up to 10% travel based on business needs or as requested by your manager.
Compensation
Airship’s compensation is determined by a variety of factors including market data, business needs, and geography. Base pay is part of your total compensation package and is dependent on multiple factors, including: relevant skills, work experience, business priorities, market demands, and location.
The starting base pay range for this position is: $30.00-$35.00 USD per hour. Some roles may also be eligible for commission, bonus, or other performance incentives. Airship believes that employees should have the opportunity to benefit from value-creation, so equity is also offered with this role. In addition, Airship offers a robust benefits package as part of our Total Rewards approach to compensation.
